EPIRB GLOBALFIX PRO, NEW GENERATION
The EPIRB GlobalFix Pro is a high quality category 1 beacon with a compact and ergonomic design. Thanks to its integrated GPS, it transmits the user's position quickly and accurately to a worldwide sea rescue network. This allows you to always have help at hand.
The self-activating GPS automatically detects your position and sends a strong signal on the 406 MHz frequency. This is accompanied by the flashing of an LED to facilitate the location, in case of low light. It should be noted that in addition to indicating the position, the personal data of the person in distress are also transmitted.

NEW REGULATION
Since May 1, 2015, the new regulation requires to have on board an EPIRB type beacon programmed with the MMSI number of the boat for the offshore category (beyond 60 miles from a shelter).
The MMSI number is delivered to you by the Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR). If you do not have an MMSI license, or need an update for an existing license, click on this link to request it from the ANFR.
