EPIRB GLOBALFIX V4 ACR, CATEGORY 2 DISTRESS BEACON
The GlobalFix V4 beacon is the new EPIRB distress beacon with GPS from ACR. It is equipped with an internal GPS that quickly and accurately relays your position to a worldwide network of search and rescue satellites.
Thanks to the new GlobalFix V4 beacon , you will reduce the search time for the rescue services, and consequently increase your chances of survival in case of extreme emergency. This ACR EPIRB uses the same rescue technologies as the U. S. Army, Coast Guard or NATO Special Forces.
ACR BEACON, NAVIGATE WITH PEACE OF MIND
The GlobalFix V4 broadcasts a unique recorded distress signal that not only tells rescuers your location, but also your identity. All the information needed in an emergency is transmitted.
The internal GPS automatically turns on and obtains your location upon activation before sending a powerful 406 MHz signal to relay your distress call to orbiting satellites. As local rescuers and helpers are deployed, a separate homing signal (121.5 MHz - homing) and a built-in LED strobe light guide them to your exact location.
With the ACR GlobalFix V4, maximize your chances of survival and go sailing with peace of mind. It is also available in Pro version with drop case.

NEW REGULATION
Since May 1, 2015, the new regulation requires to have on board an EPIRB type beacon programmed with the MMSI number of the boat for the offshore category (beyond 60 miles from a shelter).
The MMSI number is delivered to you by the Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR). If you do not have an MMSI license, or need an update for an existing license, click on this link to request it from the ANFR.
