Julbo, sunglasses made in France
Created in 1888 in Morez, in the Jura region of France, Julbo was originally a company dedicated to equipping stonecutters with protective eyewear. After being bought out by Jules Baud, it specialized in sunglasses and adopted the name under which it is known today: Julbo (the phonetic spelling of Jules Baud).
The company is still based in Longchaumois, in the Jura region, following its takeover by René Beaud in 1979. This is where Julbo thinks, designs, produces and stocks its eyewear. Today, Julbo is an international brand, thanks to its subsidiary in Vermont, USA, and the many international sportsmen and women it sponsors. The brand has won numerous awards and prizes for its innovation.

The Reactiv range is available under the names Reactiv Nautic, reactiv All Around and Reactiv Performance, each with different variations of protection. These photochromic lenses are unique in that they adapt to the light they receive. As a result, the lens darkens in strong sunlight, but becomes more transparent as the sun fades.
Flash or Color Flash (CF) coatings mirror the lens (with different colors), giving you maximum protection. For example, they can sublimate sober matte black or red frames, so you can be seen by everyone in every circumstance. CF coating can be accompanied by polarized coating for maximum protection. The price isn't drastically increased, and the gain for your eyes isn't negligible. They are, most of the time, standard on Spectron lenses.

The Loop and Looping children's glasses are best-sellers, offering high-quality lenses. Available in black or red, they will enhance your little ones' faces. The Loop children's model only comes with Spectron lenses, but numerous variations are available.
