The Coastal ISO 9650-2 Plastimo Raft - 8 Places  is a model of Regulatory life raft required for any navigation beyond 6 miles from a shelter. It meets the requirements of the "mid-shore" category defined by Division 240, in force since May 1, 2015.

This model allows the rescue of 8 people and is available in 2 packages: Bag or Container.

This life raft has been designed for moderate navigation conditions including the presence of inflation at 0°C , a simple bottom , a fluorescent orange tent canvas with fiberglass pole to deploy manually, an outdoor lamp 0.75 cd as well as reflective strips.

Equipped with a reversible ladder as well as a handle interior, it is easier for the castaways to climb into the raft. In the event of capsizing, the boarding ladder tilts and positions itself in such a way as to allow the shipwrecked person to get back onto the overturned raft, thus making it easier to right themselves.
