ACCURACY AND READING COMFORT
The reading comfort of this Iris 50 compass is greatly improved thanks to the infinite graduation projection, thus avoiding parallax errors. The photoluminescent illumination improves reading and operates without batteries or tritium.
Bearing is easy in any sea state thanks to a stable rose and the wear-resistant and shockproof stone/pivot pairing improves its accuracy.
The reading of the course on this compass is done without even looking into the prism like a classic course compass.

Finally was able to get this model. Do not understand, why it is so difficult to get one, in my home country nobody offers it and it is superior to any similar hand-held bearing compass I have seen. Glad I found this shop and could buy it together with a practical pouch. Recommended
