The Silva 85 compass is a stable course compass for small and fast boats, such as dinghies and keelboats, and is particularly effective at high speeds or in heavy seas. It also has a memory ring for setting the desired course and staying focused on maneuvers.

Clear scales and quick readability make the 85 Silva course compass suitable for high-speed navigation. Thanks to the excellent damping of the rose, the 85 Silva compass also performs well in rough sea conditions. Also, the flat underside has been designed for flat deck mounting without the need for cutting into the hull.

Versatile, the 85 course compass can also be used on a kayak, also with a flat deck mounting. The large size of the graduation digits makes it easy to read, even if the compass is installed well forward of the coaming.
