EPIRB3 OCEAN SIGNAL: AN EPIRB AND AIS DISTRESS BEACON
With its compact, ergonomic design, the EPIRB3 Ocean Signal distress beacon is suitable for all types of vessels, from pleasure boats to commercial craft. Packed with advanced technologies and features such asAIS, EPIRB and NFC , this beacon is the flagship of safety at sea.
Like a conventional EPIRB, in the event of an emergency at sea, this beacon transmits an emergency signal to the global satellite rescue system. Thanks toAIS (Automatic Identification System)integration, it sends an AIS alert on VHF frequencies. This enables any nearby vessel equipped with an AIS receiver to immediately receive this alert and arrive at your location quickly.
RLS AND NFC SYSTEMS
The EPIRB3's RLS (Return Link Service) provides visual confirmation that your distress signal, location and identification have been received by the Galileo satellite network. A combination of AIS transmitter, radio-location signal and visible and infrared lights, this system makes it easy for rescuers to locate the beacon. You'll be sure to know that your distress call has been heard, and that help is on the way, thanks to the flashing blue light.
NFC (Near Field Communication) revolutionizes your interaction with the beacon. A free smartphone app lets you control the EPIRB3. You can check battery charge, beacon status and much more before setting sail.
INTEGRATED MOUNTING BRACKET
CATEGORY 2 MANUAL RELEASE MOUNTING BRACKET
The EPIRB3 Ocean Signal beacon comes with a category 2 manual activation mounting bracket. It enables the EPIRB3 to be stored safely and protected from external damage. It enables rapid manual activation by easily removing the beacon from its bracket.
