Plastimo separator filters separate fuel, water and residues. Water and residues that accumulate in the tank are usually the cause of malfunctions, whether in the pump or in the engine's injectors.
The role of the separator filters is to divide the water, which is denser, and the fuel. The water settles in the filter. Then, the role is to filter the particles through a sieve. The filter thus protects the engine against any risk of water infiltration and impurities.
