HAMMAR HYDROSTATIC RELEASE FOR NON-SOLAS LIFERAFTS: RAPID LIFERAFT RELEASE

Hammar's hydrostatic release for non-SOLAS lif erafts enables rapid release of the liferaft from its support when the vessel is sinking. Water pressure automatically triggers the hydrostatic release, freeing the liferaft at a release depth of between 1.50 and 4 meters.

This release is designed for non-SOLAS liferafts with a capacity of 4 to 12 persons, stored in containers or on flat deck supports with straps. It comprises a mooring line forming two loops, a release mechanism and a breaking line. Once released, it will detach the raft from the boat, enabling occupants to escape quickly.

With a lifespan of 2 yearsfrom the date of installation on board, this hydrostatic release requires no inspection or maintenance, offering peace of mind to boat owners. What's more, it is impervious to corrosion, ensuring long-term reliability in marine environments. Its compact dimensions of 95 x 65 x 60 mm (excluding mooring lines) make for easy, compact installation.

Please note that the hydrostatic release does not allow the raft to be opened, as this must be done manually.

For installation, we recommend 2 x 8 mm diameter lyre shackles (not included).
