The Plastimo Lifeline (6 to 14 m) is a 2000 DaN polyester webbing with a width of 30 mm. It allows you to attach yourself to your harness and walk and maneuver in complete safety.
The shape of the strap allows the lifeline not to roll under your feet. A lifeline should be located as far inside the boat as possible and should be changed regularly due to wear and tear.
This strap is sold in pairs and without shackles. The minimum recommended breaking load for the shackle is 2000 DaN.
Nautisports advice: As with all fibers, aging, even imperceptible, occurs over time (UV, salt water, temperatures). We advise you to winterize your lifelines and to change them regularly (necessarily after a cumulative time of exposure outside of 2 years)
