The Wichard Long Shackle is a must-have attachment for sailboats.
It is ideal as a tack when the eyelet is not flush with the sail or to attach to a large plate like a backstay.
The head of the shackle locks into notches, which prevents unintentional unscrewing. For permanent fixings, prefer shackles with a hollow hexagon pin.
