MOB AIS ALERT MRT DISTRESS BEACON: EMERGENCY LOCATION DEVICE AT HIGH PRECISION
The MOB AIS ALERT MRT Distress Beacon ensures the safety of sailors in the event of an man overboard. This individual device combines AIS and VHF-DSC technologies to guarantee rapid and precise localization, thus facilitating rescue operations.
This beacon emits a distress signal via VHF-DSC, immediately alerting all vessels near. It updates the position of the castaway every 30 seconds thanks to AIS, allowing rescue teams to follow the movements of the person in difficulty in real time. The combination of GNSS receivers, including GPS and Galileo, ensures rapid and accurate position acquisition, thus increasing the chances of rescue.
This device, compliant with European standards ECC/DEC/(22)02, is designed to be easily attached to a life jacket. It can be triggered manually or automatically after immersion, even if the victim is unconscious. The MOB AIS ALERT MRT beacon also offers continuous verification of its status through visual and audible signals, and is compatible with a mobile application for simplified management. span>
