The Owatrol Marine Oil Rust Preventative stops and neutralizes rust by impregnating the substrate to the sound metal, even in micro-cavities. It offers long-lasting protection. Its insulating action prevents any resumption of oxidation by forming a flexible and waterproof protective film.  

Ideal for metallic surfaces, it can be used as an additive to reinforce the adhesion and resistance of paints and varnishes, strengthening their adhesion and limiting their flaking. Designed for direct application to non-friable rust, the Owatrol Marine Oil Rust Preventative avoids any prior sanding or blasting.

Versatile, the Marine Oil Rust Preventative can be applied to a wide range of materials. It can be used pure or mixed on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood, plastics (excluding polypropylene and polyethylene), glass and gelcoat substrates.
