Very easy to use, the Plastimo telescopic IOR pole is the essential accessory for a safe cruise. It will allow you to be spotted more easily after a fall in the water.
Mandatory on the World Sailing Federation races and often essential in regattas, the IOR pole is a minimum of 1.80 meters high once deployed out of the water, and generally equipped with an orange flag and automatic light at its end.

Composed of :
1 telescopic fiberglass pole with 1/4 turn lock
1 cylindrical float made of soft PVC, shock resistant and ergonomic for a good grip (height 360 mm, Ø 180 mm x 80 mm)
1 red and yellow man overboard flag 450 x 350 mm
3 m of yellow floating rope to be connected to a lifebuoy
1 integrated lead ballast 1 clamp and its toggle to maintain the flag rolled up
To make up the lighted version, add the optional light kit
Operates on a 9 V battery located 2.30 m above the water surface
The light turns on automatically when the pole is thrown into the sea by separating the pole from the switch clip which remains connected to the boat
To adapt the light set, simply slide the lower part of the light set into the tube on top of the pole
