The new OS1 Ocean Gill Jacket has been designed to provide maximum protection against the most extreme conditions at sea. It meets the demands of professional sailors around the world and ensures that you are effectively protected against the elements.
To achieve this level of quality, Gill first developed its new OS1 Ocean jacket in the laboratory before having it previewed in real-life conditions during the 2020/2021 Vendée Globe, by Louis Burton (3rd place). This offshore jacket Gill thus faced a first turn of the world before being put on sale on the market.
OS1 OCEAN JACKET: NEW TECHNOLOGY, NEW DESIGN
Like all the new products in the 2021 range, the new OS1 Ocean jacket is equipped with even more functionalities. It is made with Gill's unique XPLORE+ 3-layer waterproof/breathable membrane, and also features XPEL technology, an exclusive process that helps control odors for greater comfort in action.
Its new design makes the OS1 Gill sailing jacket soft and comfortable to wearwithout the feeling of weighing you down even in heavy weather. Fleece-lined high collar with storm flap, two-way YKK zipper, Velcro adjustable outer cuffs, high-visibility polyurethane sleeves and six new Gill photoluminescent reflectors for 360-degree visibility are essential features of this Gill sailing jacket to stay dry and warm even when the weather gets rough.
The new OS1 Ocean range doesn't compromise on your safety and incorporates a PLB beacon attachment point on the right sleeve of the sailing jacket, plus a multi-functional shackle and safety hook tool. "Embark on the toughest conditions imaginable!" : that's how the new OS1 Ocean Gill Jacket was designed.
This jacket goes perfectly with the OS1 Gill watch overalls.
