The Advansea S400 compass is a sensor used to measure the earth's magnetic field. It delivers a magnetic CAP indication (HDG frame) via a NMEA0183 connection.
It is compatible with all devices having an NMEA0183 input that can receive magnetic heading information (chart readers, navigation software, radar, etc.). Also compatible with the Advansea Wifi interface and the Advansea Repeat.
