SAFELINK PLB INDIVIDUAL BEACON KANNAD MARINE: MARINE OR LAND USE
The Safelink PRO GPS (PLB) Kannad Marine individual beacon is designed to be worn by any user to ensure his safety in case of distress, anywhere in the world. It can be used at sea, in the mountains, on treks or any other outdoor activity.
After reporting your departure and destination, the Safelink beacon will transmit your ID and GNSS position (GPS + Galileo) to the Cospas-Sarsat global distress system. In the event of a problem, rescuers will be regularly informed ofyour position and will locate you with precision in order to bring you help as soon as possible.
The Safelink beacon must be registered beforehand on the CNES portal, register 406, or MMSI. The user file must be modified each time the owner changes. It is strongly recommended to regularly fill in the register when changing boat or destination.
ENSURE YOUR SAFETY WITH AN INDIVIDUAL BEACON
This Kannad beacon is designed for individual use at sea, on the river or on land. It cannot be attached to a boat or a craft, only to an individual. It is easy to carry and its waterproofing allows it to operate for a minimum of 24 hours.
In addition, this SafeLink Kannad beacon emits a digital signal that allows the identification and detection of the position by satellite on 406 MHz (5 watts) and thanks to a homing signal on 121.5 MHz guiding the rescuers to the place even without visibility.
