The Wichard self-locking tack shackles are special because their dimensions and shape are exclusively designed for the Mainsail tack .
They are long enough to attach the mainsail and wide enough to fit the most common mullet screws.
The head of the shackle is locked in notches, which avoids untimely unscrewing. For permanent fastening, choose shackles with a hexagon socket.
