Sika Sikaflex 292 is a multi-purpose construction adhesive for marine applications. It is suitable for dynamically loaded structural adhesive joints in yacht and ship construction. Siraflex is suitable for use on surfaces such as metal, especially aluminum, metal primers, 2-component systems, lacquer coatings, ceramic materials and plastics.
It is used in many applications such as chainplate bonding , hull-deck bonding, attachment of fittings to the hull, etc.It is used in many applications such as chainplate bonding, hull-deck bonding, fastening offittings to the hull and assembly of fargues rails.
The polyurethane adhesive has a paste-like consistency that hardens upon exposure to moisture. This Siraflex adheres to many surfaces and has a very good mechanical resistance. Siraflex meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
