On the strength of his 2 previous participations in the non-stop, non-assisted single-handed round-the-world race, Romain Attanasio will set off on his 3rd Vendée Globe on November 10, 2024 aboard the IMOCA Fortinet - Best Western.

Romain has spent the last three years getting to grips with his VPLP/Verdier-designed foiler (formerly known as Edmond de Rothschild and Malizia), and has taken part in ten IMOCA races, including two Transat Jacques Vabre and one Route du Rhum, finishing in the top 10 eight times. This consistency is the result of his pugnacity, the hard work of his team and the unfailing support of his partners Fortinet and Best Western.

Once again, Romain will be delighted to share his adventures with the enthusiasm and spontaneity that are so characteristic of him, without omitting a great deal of humor, deriding and relativising the miles that will punctuate his forthcoming races.

While he enjoys taking the public along with him, he never forgets his primary and stated objective, which is to enter the top 10 of the 2024 Vendée Globe.
