Team Manuel Cousin

Born into a family of sailing enthusiasts, Manuel Cousin began sailing at the age of 6 aboard an Optimist. A lover of the sea and a competitor at heart, he took up ocean racing, moving from a 6.50-meter to a Class40.

In 2014, when he took part in the Transat Jacques Vabre for the first time, he found Groupe SÉTIN as his sponsor, which has been a key partner in his exploits ever since. For more than three years, he shone in formidable Class40 races. In 2017, he decided to turn to IMOCA racing, with the ultimate dream of taking part in the Vendée Globe.

Determined and courageous, Manuel lined up for all the IMOCA races and succeeded in qualifying for the 2020 Vendée Globe. His main objective is to finish this legendary event, which he achieves by finishing ^23rd.
