SART S100 Ocean Signal Transponder
The SART SeaSafe S100 transponder is designed to facilitate the search and rescue of crews aboard lifeboats or life rafts. Once activated and when a radar signal is received from a ship or aircraft, the S100 transponder automatically transmits a response signal, which clearly identifies the lifeboat on the radar screen using a set of 12 dots in a row.
In use, the S100 transponder will remain in standby mode for over 96 hours and will automatically start transmitting as soon as a radar transmission is received.
