Kayak lifejacket

Our lifejackets include a wide range ofbuoyancy aids for a variety of water-based activities, such as kayaking. Comfortable, ergonomic and easy to put on, our kayak lifejackets are specially designed to meet the needs of beginners and experienced kayakers alike. Even if not required by law, wearing a kayak lifejacket is common sense and can save you from drowning in the event of an accidental rollover or fall into the water. To remove any doubt about the quality of our products, all the kayak lifejackets we sell are approved. From 50N and 70N to 100N and 150N for certain models, our kayak lifejackets are available in a wide range of sizes and weights. When asked "Which vest is right for kayaking?", a 50N foam vest will be the most suitable product. Choose a model with buoyancy adapted to your build to ensure maximum safety.

KAYAK VESTS, SAFETY AND COMFORT

Before you make your purchase, make sure the vest meets these requirements. Buoyancy levels vary according to use, whether 50N, 70N or 100N for whitewater, measured in Newtons. To be truly effective, a lifejacket must fit perfectly. The first step is to choose the right size, just as with clothing. Secondly, lifejackets come in a variety of shapes, with more or less open necklines for greater freedom of movement. We recommend a lifejacket with an ergonomic cut, adapted to kayaking. This will ensure greater ease of movement when paddling. Last but not least, it's essential to select a lifejacket suited to your weight. The right buoyancy aid will enable a conscious person to keep his or her head above water, even in rough seas.

LIFEJACKETS: WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR KAYAKING?

A buoyancy aid is not compulsory for kayaking, if and only if the size of your canoe, inflatable or rigid, is less than 3.50 meters. In this case, your distance from the shore must not exceed 300 meters. We recommend, however, that you always wear a lifejacket. For kayaks longer than 3.50 metres, which can sailing up to 2 nautical miles from a shelter, you must embark with a lifejacket meeting European standards.

KAYAK LIFEJACKETS, MANY MODELS ON NAUTISPORTS

Whether you're an amateur or a regular kayaker, take advantage of our wide selection of 50N and 70N lifejackets for sea kayaking and inland waters. When it comes to kayaking, the buoyancy aid vest is an essential safety device for novices and experienced kayakers alike. It allows you to kayak up to 2 nautical miles from a shelter. If you're a watersports enthusiast, a kayak lifejacket will prove just as versatile and useful for activities such as kitesurfing or light sailing. A kayak lifejacket can also be used as a gilet de sauvetage paddle if required.

For a successful canoeing trip, it's essential to take the time to choose your buoyancy aid. In addition to your buoyancy aid, remember to equip yourself with appropriate clothing, such as a neoprene wetsuit, for an optimal kayaking experience.
