The Standard Horizon GX1400G fixed marine VHF is the VHF radio you need if you want a complete and quality equipment. This unit is designed for GMDSS operation, so you will be able to access all DSC distress calls on channel 70.
ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL NAVIGATION DATA
The built-in GPS receiver will give you access to your position and the following navigation information: LAT/LON (latitude/longitude), SOC (Speed Over Ground) and COG (Course Over Ground). You can also switch this VHF Standard Horizon to ATIS to navigate inland waters. The Polling function included in this VHF GX1400G will allow you to exchange your GPS coordinates with up to 4 boats in VHF range.
NMEA 0183 COMPATIBLE
This VHF GX1400G is NMEA 0183 compliant, which makes it compatible with data transfer. Thanks to the NMEA input and output, you will be able to connect a compatible autopilot to this VHF.
