Pantalon de quart femme

Why buy a woman's overalls

In bad weather at sea, it quickly becomes essential to have adequate protection. Watch dungarees have gradually replaced oilcloth pants because they are much more suitable for sailing. A woman's overalls are less rigid and therefore allow a better freedom of movement. Women's d ungarees also have a more fitted and often more sporty cut, to best accompany your movements and not to interfere during maneuvers.

How to choose your women's overalls

It is now accepted that the most effective solution to protect you from the elements is to combine the waterproofing of a pair of watch overalls with the thermal comfort of tights. For offshore and regattas, waterproofing is the first criteria to consider. Your women's racing overalls should keep you dry for long periods in the rain, so a waterproof rating of at least 15,000 mm is recommended. To keep you dry effectively, your women's coveralls must prevent water from penetrating, but allow perspiration to be evacuated. Breathability is therefore the second essential criterion for sport sailing. If you are going on a regatta, other elements such as knee and buttock reinforcements or reflective details should be taken into account.

If you are planning a more coastal or leisure outing, you may be less concerned about breathability. You can also opt for intermediate waterproofing, as long as it exceeds 5000 mm.

To sum up, high levels of waterproofing and breathability will be essential if you are going offshore. For leisure sailing, waterproofing is still essential but breathability is less important. Whatever the type of sailing you practice, you will find the ideal women's watch dungarees on Nautisports. com.
