Navigation compasses or compass

Navigation compasses are navigation accessories that allow you to have directional references (more precisely north) on the horizontal plane and also to measure horizontal angles in relation to this direction.

Compasses are navigational instruments that also indicate magnetic north but with a magnetized needle.

However, navigational compasses are still superior to compasses in that they allow for less error and therefore greater accuracy. In addition, navigation compasses are not dependent on the earth's magnetic field.
