The NMEA0183 LCJ Capteurs 12V Wind Vane Anemometer is a vertical-arm ultrasonic wind sensor designed for motorboats and various shore installations. This easy-to-install model provides precise data on wind speed and direction, essential for optimal navigation.

The CV7-V sensor stands out for its versatility and ease of mounting on vertical structures such as hoops or cabin roofs, thanks to its 30 cm vertical support and bracket compatible with Glomex© brackets. It is particularly well-suited to sailboats where masthead mounting is impossible, allowing discreet and efficient installation on the side of the mast.

The CV7-V uses ultrasonic technology to offer dynamic wind measurement from 0.25 to 80 knots with ±1° direction sensitivity. Configurable to meet the specific needs of both slow and fast motorboats, it can be operated via a PC or any indicator with standardized NMEA® input. In PC mode, this bi-directional sensor allows programming and configuration of several parameters, including angle correction, smoothing time constant and units of measurement.
