The CV7V Vertical Arm Windvane Anemometer + LCJ Sensors Barometer is an ultrasonic wind measurement instrument, ideal for motorboats. With its integrated barometric sensor, this model offers enhanced accuracy and reliability, essential for safe navigation.
The CV7V-BARO sensor has a 30 cm vertical support and is compatible with a variety of supports, including Glomex©. Easy to install on hoops or cabin roofs, this sensor is also suitable for sailboats unable to mount instruments at the masthead. Its compact, unobtrusive design makes it almost invisible, while providing crucial data on wind speed and direction, as well as atmospheric pressure.
The CV7V-BARO uses advanced ultrasonic technology to measure wind speeds from 0.25 to 80 knots, with ±1° directional sensitivity. The sensor is configurable and can be operated via a PC or any other NMEA®-compatible indicator. In PC mode, it enables precise adjustments, such as angle correction and smoothing time constant. The CV7V-BARO is particularly well suited to the specific requirements of boats with slow or fast engines.
