The Lofrans 500W X1 vertical windlass is essential for anchor management on your boat. Designed for demanding sailors, this windlass combines performance, robustness and ease of use.

Lofrans' 500W X1 vertical windlass features a chrome-plated bronze base and drum. It is versatile, offering independent operation of the gypsy and drum, enabling flexible management of anchoring operations.

The gypsy combination is rope and chain compatible, offering manual chain release for enhanced safety and convenience. Rope and chain management is facilitated by a spring-loaded arm, while a pre-installed chain counter magnet ensures unrivalled accuracy.

This windlass features a robust electric motor with IP67 protection. The anodized marine aluminum gearbox adds further protection against corrosion, prolonging product life.

Mixed sprockets handle 6 mm or 8 mm chain and 12 mm rope, with a lifting speed of 23 m/min. The 500-watt (12 V) motor can reach peaks of 700 watts, providing a maximum pulling force of 345 kg for a working load of 95 kg. The remote relay and integrated sensors enable compatibility with the optional chain counter, offering enhanced accuracy and ease of use.
