PLASTIMO INFLATABLE IOR POLE
The Plastimo inflatable IOR pole allows to locate a man overboard while ensuring a 150N buoyancy to this one.
The box containing the IOR pole is positioned on the boat's balcony. The box is connected to the support by a rope. In the event of a man overboard, it is sufficient to throw the box in the direction of the victim. The tension exerted on the wire triggers the percussion and releases the box (which is no longer connected to the support). The box floats, attached to the buoy.
Compliant with the ISAF-ORC, as well as with the FRANCE sailing regulations, as a "device for locating and assisting a person who has fallen into the water", the IOR plastimo pole replaces the horseshoe buoy.
Nautisports tip: For optimal mounting on a balcony, we recommend the use of two Plastimo mounting kits (Ref 415010). The refill kit for the CO2 bottle is the reference 50374 (60G CO2 bottle)
