It all starts with a meeting: between Philippe Monnoyeur, general director of the group, and the young sailor Benjamin Ferré, colt of the legendary Jean Le Cam. This meeting highlights the common values ​​that bind them: transmission, sharing, ambition and humanity.

At Monnoyeur, the expertise and know-how of teams are transmitted between employees to respond to transformations and challenges of our customers. Monnoyeur therefore decides to support the skipper for the next 4 years, with his major objective in 2024 being his participation in the Vendée Globe.

It will sail with the group's new identity proudly displayed on the hull and sails, accompanied by the "DUO" association for a JOB", which connects young people of diversity and refugees actively seeking employment with mentors.

Benjamin Ferré, 31 years old, immerses you in an impressive world: ocean racing.

The least we can say is that this is not his first challenge: 40,000 km hitchhiking around the globe, a crossing of the Atlantic on a sailboat without GPS, using a sextant while navigating using the stars, a crossing of Morocco in a 4L and the open sea solo during the Mini Transat de 2019. Benjamin Ferré is a Breton sailor and entrepreneur, in love with life… and crazy challenges!

On the program for the next 4 years is a succession of legendary races such as the Transat Jacques Vabre or the Route du Rhum before achieve the ultimate dream, the large XXL, for its 10th edition in 2024: The Vendée Globe. A non-stop, unassisted world tour with Benjamin Ferré and Monnoyeur.

For his preparation and participation in the next offshore races, Benjamin Ferré turned to the brand Helly Hansen , famous Norwegian equipment manufacturer.
