The 2000 W Victron isolation transformer isolating transformer distributes current to the boat from the dock, while limiting electrolysis. It protects your boat against corrosion.

Electrolysis has always been one of yachtsmen's greatest fears! If this corrosion phenomenon is particularly dangerous for steel and aluminum boats, polyester sailboats and motorboats are not spared. All immersed metal masses can be subject to electrolysis: propellers, keels, anodes, etc.

This isolation transformer enables you to reconstitute an insulated ground for the boat's power supply. The shore power system is thus dissociated from that of the boat, neutralizing the phenomenon of electrolysis.

A POWERFUL, ROBUST TRANSFORMER

This 2000 W Victron isolation transformer isolation transformer offers 2000 W output power and accepts input voltage of 115 V or 230 V (configurable). Similarly, the output voltage can be set to 115 or 230V. The housing is made of a metal block epoxy-treated metal block for resistance to the marine environment.

Equipped with the Softstartsystem, it smoothes inrush currents when switched on, to avoidavoid overloads on shore power.
